Island Security Services was founded with one mission: to protect Hilton Head and the surrounding Lowcountry while helping businesses, communities, and individuals feel safe.
Since 2019, we’ve seen the growing need for reliable, professional security at every level—from businesses and schools to special events and communities. We built a company rooted in integrity, experience, and local trust.
Today, our team includes SLED-certified officers, experienced military veterans, and former law enforcement professionals, all committed to protecting what matters most.

We are SLED-certified by the State of South Carolina, which means our officers—armed and unarmed—carry the same legal authority as sheriff’s deputies within our contracted sites.
